I bought Sin City on DVD a few weeks back and only got round to watching it last night.

At first i wasn’t too impressed with it, but as it progressed i started to appreciate it more.
It’s got a very unique style, one which you can’t compare to any other film.

It’s mainly shot in black and white, interspersed with block colours here and their. I quite liked how that worked. Shooting in black and white made it less cluttered for me and the colour just highlighted important parts. Very stylistic.

There’s a lot of well known actors playing various roles. I think the most entertaining was Elijah Woods playing an absolute psycho! A very different role to Lord of the Rings.

I think it’s definitely worth a watch if you’ve not seen it.
